Jack Daniel's Spirit of Tennessee Cookbook by Lynne Tolley & Pat Mitchamore

The Jack Daniel's Spirit of Tennessee cookbook is original and comes with its own style of southern cooking infused with charm and sometimes a naughty dose of Jack Daniel's whiskey. Lynne Tolley a direct descendant of Jack Daniels, and restaurateur who holds degree in home economics and nutrition, and writer Pat Michamore took the extra time to provide key elements of Tennessee history along with some tempting recipes. As you enter into the pages you can imagine the sights, sounds and smells of the region. I will note that if you must have photographs of the completed dish then this book might not be for you. However if you are a cook who loves dishes that have been handed down over the years, like homemade cookout relish this is a must have book. The best cookbooks give you foods from A to Z, drinks, condiments, meats, vegetables, breads, soups and salads. With those elements you create a delightful meal for friends and family that they will talk about long after dessert is served. You will get all that here and as the book cover says "The spirit of Tennessee has never tasted better" Enjoy it and pick up a copy for the chef in your home.
